About us
Cat Land Sanctuary is a non-profit organization that rescues at-risk cats, provides them with protection and care on the territory of the shelter, and finds them loving houses.
Every cat that comes under our care receives the necessary care, attention and love!
We are not just a temporary shelter, we try to create a cozy - home where cats can recover and prepare for a new life! 👌❤️
Our vision
Our vision is to provide a resource base
1. places for short-term and long-term cat fostering,
2. an economic reserve to cover veterinary costs\of care and treatment\feeding,
3. equipment for the TNR programme or unhealthy cats catching for further treatment,
4. legal support to defend the rights and lives of cats etc., which would help volunteers and different people, work together to solve the problems of the homeless cat population in Cyprus.
Our mission
Our mission is to improve the quality of life of stray cats by providing conditions for short-term or long-term accommodation (free movement shelter) and subsequent adoption in new homes, providing medical care, developing a sterilization program, reducing cases of abuse and, of course, creating additional projects aimed at socially positive communication between people and cats!
How you can help
Donation
The shelter's main source of life is receiving support through donations, sponsorships - Membership programme and Guardianship programme, partnerships with animal support organizations; grants from the Cyprus Administration, assistance from targeted programs, as well as income from public events.

Guardianship Program
For each cat own guardian! Rescue a cat – save a life!
The guardianship program supports the specific cat that the guardian chooses.
The essence of the program is that every month, the guardian contributes a certain amount that will provide the main food and filler for a particular cat/cats. The monthly fee does not cover veterinary care, necessary medical and supportive drugs, and household expenses. On average, a cat's monthly food + litter costs 20 euros.
Volunteering
Cat Land encourages volunteerism and support from local residents. This active participation of local residents not only helps with operational challenges, but also strengthens the shelter's network and influence in the community, increasing its long-term sustainability.
We are always looking for friendly volunteers that love animals and want to do and any what they can to help out!
Membership Program
The creation of a membership program allows to encourage donations to the needs of the shelter. We receive an additional source of financial assistance in the form of membership fees, and in gratitude we provide some benefits to patrons, for example: free help in catching cats in need of treatment or vouchers for participation in the sterilization program, newsletters, events or branded products, etc.
